During his interactive workshops, LOZA enjoys making connections between his technique and Mexican cultural traditions. He has conducted numerous workshops at museums, cultural centers, schools, galleries, and universities in USA.

LOZA has led interactive workshops for students and adults of all ages & abilities.
Workshop venues include AVAM Museum, Creative Alliance, Walter’s Art Gallery, universities, schools, and cultural centers in Maryland, Delaware, Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Los Angeles (CA).
LOZA-led workshops give participants a fun opportunity to create their own piece of Arte en Estambre and learn more about Mexican & Huichol culture and traditions.
He provides these materials required for his Arte en Estambre workshops:
Two types of wax (available only in Mexico)
yarn of varying colors (available only in Mexico)
instruments for cutting / pressing yarn
pre-cut heavy cardboard or plywood for each participant
Suggested workshop timeframe is 2-3 hours. Ideal number of participants is between 10-15 people. LOZA-led workshop costs include prep & teaching time + materials for each participant. For workshop estimates, please contact:
